Roger began his career as group accountant and financial controller with a large multi-franchise motor vehicle group. He became a director of the group five years later to head up the marketing division.
In 1992, he left to pursue his own business interests in healthcare and property development. Since then he has been involved in the ownership and management of large medical centres that encompass all the allied health professions. His marketing background helped him develop a special emphasis on quality and service delivery in healthcare. Roger has also undertaken a wide array of medium density inner-city property developments.
As well as being managing director of Arcadia Group, Roger also served as an executive committee member of the International Business Council of Western Australia from 1997 to 2000 and was a member of the West Australian Trade Advisory Board from 1999 to 2001 and was the founding chairman of the External Advisory Board of the Curtin University School of Management. He also served as a board member of the Positive Ageing Foundation of Australia from 2001 to 2006. In 2007 Roger was appointed to the board of an ASX listed company, Vietnam Industrial Investments Ltd, and in 2008 was nominated to represent Western Australia on the Retirement Villages Association Ltd National Board.

Geoff& Ann Hornibrook live on site at Arcadia Waters Perth. Prior to taking up their roles at Arcadia Waters, both Geoff and Ann had senior management roles in business. Geoff was a Bunnings store manager for 10 years while Ann ran her own business for many years and later worked in an administrative role as a PA / Office Manager.
They both agreed that a career change would suit them, so being very people orientated they recognised that the management opportunity at Arcadia Waters Perth lifestyle resort would make use of their combined skills while offering the lifestyle change they were seeking. Together they take care of all management issues and look after the security and welfare of the village and its residents.

Andy Samuels and Ruth Paley moved from Perth to take up the management role at Arcadia Waters Geraldton in 2010. Immediately prior to migrating to Western Australia in September 2008, both Andy and Ruth worked in the police service in the UK. Prior to that Ruth worked in hotel management. In 2008 Andy applied for and was selected to join the WA police and was posted to Fremantle. Ruth migrated with him and worked in Midland for the WA Police as a Communications Officer.
After a couple of years, they decided on a career change that would allow them to spend more time together. The opportunity to manage Arcadia Waters Geraldton retirement community came up and they jumped at the chance. Living on site in the village, they now call Arcadia Waters retirement village 'home' and as well as managing the day to day affairs of the village, they enjoy the strong community atmosphere at this lifestyle resort.

In late 2010 Arcadia Waters appointed Linda Migro as Sales Consultant for their villages at Geraldton and Port Denison. She and her husband Con made the move to Geraldton in January 2011 after living for around ten years in a similar resort village in Perth where Linda was also responsible for home sales.
Linda's extensive knowledge and experience in the retirement village industry means she is well placed to answer all your questions. She says she really enjoyed the challenge of selling over 30 retirement villas in Perth during one of the most difficult times in real estate and is delighted to have been given the opportunity to be the Property Sales Consultant for Arcadia Waters in Geraldton and Port Denison.
Con is well known in Western Australia for his enthusiastic and distinctive voice calling the races and promoting Claremont Speedway and subsequently at the Perth Motorplex at Kwinana Beach. His involvement in Speedway is legendary. A past President of the Australian Speedway Promoters Association and a Life Member of the World Speedway Riders Association, he was inducted in the American Sprintcar Hall of Fame for Australia. While still involved in Speedway, Con has since discovered a new sporting passion with Lawn Bowls and is looking forward to playing at the Geraldton Bowling Club.
